MLK 2020 Youth Essay Contest


My Most Favorite Quote of Dr. King…And What it Means to Me

  • Grade Categories for eligibility are: Elementary, Middle School and High School. 
  • Essay must have a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 500 words double-spaced pages in 12 pt black font. Artistic Expressions and Drawings will also be received. · 
  • The essay will be judged on clarity, content, grammar, and how well the theme is developed based on the age and grade of the writer. 
  • There will be first and second place winners in each category and each will receive a cash award.
