Mission Connection Team Meeting

The Mission Connection Leadership Team of the Western NC Conference of The United Methodist Church will be hosting a Mission Connection Team Meeting on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10 am to 2 pm at Huntersville UMC. We will be gathering at 9:30 a.m. and will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Gaston Warner, of Zoe Empowers, will be the guest speaker.

The missional call in the hearts of individuals and churches of the Western North Carolina Conference is strong; many serving in a myriad of ways locally, nationally and around the world. Because we are stronger together Mission Connection Teams are being formed for stronger collaboration and resource sharing.

This event offers opportunity for individuals and church teams to share what has been learned through local, national and international engagement; thus, creating Mission Connection Teams around common geographical missional response and affinity teams based on common interest and response at the local level.

Through collaboration, we can increase impact and better discern how God might be leading us into stronger, sustainable partnerships that lead to transformational impact as we seek to respond to our call to make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

This session is designed for representation from local churches that are currently engaged in local, state, and international missional response or who want to learn from others who are. So, who should attend? Domestic and international mission trip leaders and team members, missional pastors and directors, local church mission and outreach leaders and committee members.

Registration deadline is October 28, 2019 and the cost is $10.00, which includes lunch.
