Family Retreat and Mission Opportunities at Hinton Rural Life Center

Hinton Rural Life Center is responding to individual and family needs to retreat, reflect, and renew during this uncertain and stressful time by offering affordable options to getaway, but still be mindful of protecting oneself and others.

FAMILY RETREAT/MISSION OPPORTUNITIES
Below are links to discount packages, both designed for individuals and families who've been sheltering and following pandemic protocols, but seek a change of scenery and activity -- recreational, missional, or both. Hinton's 33-acre campus in Hayesville, NC, in the Appalachian Mountains offers these opportunities. YOUTH VIRTUAL AND ON-SITE MISSIONS
Hinton is also offering opportunities for youth to be in mission this summer in ways that address Covid-19 safety concerns. Hinton has Virtual Missions package so teams can serve at home but still be connected with a mission week at Hinton through shared devotionals, activities, worship, and more. The package contains t-shirts, videos, schedule, and more; teams set up service projects in their own church or community.

Hinton is also prepared to host teams on-site, with Covid-19 protocols in place to protect staff and guests. For more information and to register for THIS SUMMER, go to https://www.hintoncenter.org/missions .

As a retreat and mission outreach agency of the Southeastern Jurisdiction of The UMC, Hinton Rural Life Center is here to serve you and offer sacred space and place for individuals, families, and congregations to Retreat, Reflect, and Renew.
