Camp Tekoa has new offerings in 2018



Tekoa Foothills Community Day

We’d like to invite Pastors, Christian Educators and Youth Ministers to a fun day at Tekoa Foothills!  We want to show you what is happening at Tekoa Foothills and explore partnerships with churches in the area for our new Day Camp and Missions Camp.  For each church that attends, we will offer one full-price Tekoa Foothills Day Camp scholarship or a half Tekoa Foothills Overnight scholarship. Lunch is provided.

Camp Tekoa’s Grace For the Journey

Are you looking for a Confirmation Retreat for your church?  Grace for the Journey offers you the opportunity to bond with your confirmands, experience solid teaching, adventure activities and a service project.

Tekoa Missions

Camp Tekoa is excited to announce our next great adventure- Tekoa Missions!  Drawing upon our camping ministry background and years of experience with service projects in Henderson County, this summer we will be offering two weeks of missions at Tekoa Foothills.  This camp is designed for youth groups, ages 6th to 12th grade.  Groups will serve residents of Cleveland County repairing homes, building ramps and connecting with the community.  Each evening will offer high energy games, adventure activities and reflective worship.  Friday is a play day where you can hike at South Mountain State Park or take a trip to Carowinds.  Group Registrations are now open.

Day Camp will be a wonderful opportunity to experience creek stompin’ arts and crafts, the zipline, the pool and more! Plus- we will provide lunch!



Camp Tekoa

Registration is open for Camp Tekoa!  Camp Tekoa continues to fulfill our mission through helping campers experience God here in the mountains of NC.  We now offering a wide variety of adventure camps including specialties camps for rising 6th and 9th graders.  Whether you attend Day Camp, Mini Camp, Overnight Camp or and Adventure Camp- we know that God will help you grow in your faith, build deep friendships and experience a tremendous amount of fun here in this place.

Tekoa Foothills

Registration is open for our second season at Tekoa Foothills!  Middle school and elementary school students can join us for some awesome camp fun!  Slide on the new pool slide, ride the 400′ zipline and try your hand at archery!  Enjoy arts and crafts, creek stompin’ or our 14′ lakeslide!  Tekoa Foothills is a great way to experience friendships, community, and adventure in God’s creation!

This faithful team has created three documents, two of which you are receiving today. They include:

  • Family Home Worship – designed to help families establish a regular worship space within their homes as well as a time where they can worship together.
  • Tech Strategies – to help guide you in selecting effective tools and resources within your budget to best communicate in the digital world.
