AC2019 Innovation Initiative

 

As an Annual Conference, we are full of passionate, creative people! A group of laity and clergy has come together to shape some experiences at Annual Conference that help people realize their innovative potential.

These efforts are designed with the following outcomes in mind:
  • Fruitful Relationships that foster deeper collaboration, shared learning, and critical support in innovation efforts.
  • Creative Spaces for passionate people to connect, dream about the possibilities, and work towards a better future together.
  • New Models of Ministry that better leverage the gifts of emerging leaders to serve communities and make disciples.

Instances of Innovation Video Submissions
Show us how you're being innovative in your ministry context! We're looking for clergy and laity in ministry across the conference to submit brief (1min or less), simple (you can do it on a smartphone) videos showcasing your innovation efforts. Innovators Dinner @ Annual Conference
Wednesday, June 19th, 6:30pm @ Long’s Chapel UMC
Join us for dinner and curated conversation around how the church can innovate in the areas of Missions, Discipleship, Communication, and Experiences. We want to help you get inspired or take your idea to the next phase through a collaborative time with other passionate, creative people! Dinner and childcare provided at no cost.
