Register now for Fresh Expressions Vision Day- May 6th

As we enter into Holy Week, here is an exciting upcoming opportunity to equip your congregation to engage in new ways with your community: What is Fresh Expressions? Fresh Expressions is a missional movement with roots in England that focuses on contextual Christian churches formed among those who are not yet members of any church. The movement has exploded in the UK, with over 3,000 fresh expressions meeting in parks, restaurants, pubs, cafes and other community spaces. Learn more about Fresh Expressions in Luke Edwards' (Associate at Boone UMC) free e-book <http://freshexpressionsus.org/howtostart>. What is a Vision Day? A Vision Day is a great way to discover more about Fresh Expressions. In an interactive format, you will have the chance to hear how Fresh Expressions is renewing the church, talk about the development of Fresh Expressions, learn more about the mission-shaped church, and discover tools to start Fresh Expressions in your area. Who should I invite? Anyone at your church who is passionate about engaging with your community. When is it? May 6th from 9:00 to 3:30pm Where is it? First United Methodist Church Salisbury (217 S Church Street) How much is it? $15 for all WNC United Methodists (lay and clergy) Register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/salisbury-vision-day-tickets-32159500933
