Welcome to the New Website!

It is designed to load quick, with easy access to links and resources, and easily viewed on all devices.  It was also designed to be cost efficient and more accessible to more of our conference and district staffs. Take a few minutes to look around the site.  See that most of your favorite sections from the old site are on this new site, and you will find some new pages and sections.
The navigation bars at the top and the bottom (BLACK BARS WITH LINKS) will take you to the most used pages and sections; the front page will always highlight the latest updates and information. If you ever get lost on the site, click on the logo (top-left) and you will return to the front page. There is a link to the SITE MAP on the bottom navigation bar.  This will give you an alphabetical listing of all the pages on the main site. Widgets on the right sidebar will help you keep up with the latest news stories published, the latest career postings, Facebook posts and the latest from CONNECT. Some of the ministry teams that have created a large amount of content have their own sections now: LEADWNCC.ORG | MISSION | VITAL Looking for DISTRICTS or CONFERENCE STAFF- they are in the first drop down menu on the far left-under ABOUT Take a look around, become familiar with this resource, and if you have questions, contact us.

OTHER:

The Appalachian District Church Vitality Team has been prayerfully seeking ways to help support you and the ministries of your local congregation during this COVID-19 pandemic. Together they have diligently researched and connected with others throughout the conference and our denomination to identify resources and offer them to you. We hope they will be helpful to you and bless you greatly in leading your churches and communities through this unprecedented time. We are very grateful to the District Vitality Team and other contributors for their great work on this resource.

This faithful team has created three documents, two of which you are receiving today. They include:

  • Family Home Worship – designed to help families establish a regular worship space within their homes as well as a time where they can worship together.
  • Tech Strategies – to help guide you in selecting effective tools and resources within your budget to best communicate in the digital world.

We believe these resources will be of great benefit to you. Also know that the District Vitality Team is available to answer any questions you might have in regards to the documents attached. If you have questions, you may email Rev. Howard Fleming at hfleming@wnccumc.net.
