Global Young People's Convocation seeking planning team members


gypc-la_600_540_s_c1The Global Young People's Convocation (GYPC) brings together United Methodist young people and those who work with them from around the world. The next GYPC will be held on July 18-22, 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa. You have the opportunity to be part of the Planning Team for GYPC 2018. You can also forward this email to United Methodist youth or young adults that you know who may be interested in applying. We are looking for the following Committee Chairs and Members: Committee Chairpersons:

Please note that these positions are voluntary. With rare exceptions, committee meetings will be done online via video/audio call (Skype). This faithful team has created three documents, two of which you are receiving today. They include:

  • Family Home Worship – designed to help families establish a regular worship space within their homes as well as a time where they can worship together.
  • Tech Strategies – to help guide you in selecting effective tools and resources within your budget to best communicate in the digital world.
