Announcing a 2-Part Online Eating Together Faithfully (ETF) Training Sponsored by MTSO on Nov 5th & 6th


Interested in becoming an Eating Together Faithfully (ETF) Facilitator? ETF is a Framework for conversation for congregations, seminaries, and communities to engage with food and food systems from a theological perspective.

Life Around the Table is honored to announce a new 2-Part Online ETF Training, sponsored by the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO) on November 5th & 6th! MTSO provides theological education and leadership in pursuit of a just, sustainable and generative world. Join other community and church leaders to learn how to use the ETF Framework to facilitate conversations in your community about what it looks like to eat with God's intentions for all creation in mind.

This ETF Training is broken into two parts (attend both, or choose one):
  • PART 1 on November 5th @ 10am-12pm: ETF Introductory Training ($25 for non-MTSO staff/students)
  • PART 2 on November 6th @ 10am-12pm: MTSO Workshop – On Higher Ground: Ministries of Food Sovereignty in African American Christian Traditions (FREE for all to attend)

This faithful team has created three documents, two of which you are receiving today. They include:

  • Family Home Worship – designed to help families establish a regular worship space within their homes as well as a time where they can worship together.
  • Tech Strategies – to help guide you in selecting effective tools and resources within your budget to best communicate in the digital world.
