Anam Cara: Spiritual Direction Training

Join the Fall 2019 Cohort of Anam Cara!

Anam Cara is a two-year missional spiritual direction training program that, along with traditional preparation for one-on-one spiritual direction, moves participants toward a posture of spiritual direction within the wider context of the neighborhood of one’s work, travel, and life in community.

Over the course of two years, Anam Cara takes the director-in-training through six retreats which offer instruction, small group experiential learning, readings, spaces for worship and prayerful solitude. Between the retreats, participants will meet with a peer group, receive guidance from an experienced spiritual director, read books, and hone essential skills to recognize the hand of God in our own and others’ narratives.

This year’s application deadline: August 16, 2019.
